As the representative of our GLSC program at our school for the past 4 years, we have a wonderful track record with Great Lakes. They are always courteous, and orders are received in a timely manner, not ever late. Since November of 2005 we have sold approximately $95,000.00 worth of gift certificates and cards through our program which also include: four grocery stores, and multiple local restaurants in our area.
Great Lakes deserves many thanks for all that they do to help schools around the country. I have no doubt they will be around for years to come!

I was just thinking about this message board item and I am glad someone is resuming it. I too, had no backorders with GL Scrips. The last order had a little mixup in which I received something other than what was ordered--at least what I thought I ordered. However, it was easily resolved.
I just switched to Great Lakes Scrip after being taken for a ride by ScripAdvantage. So far, only 4 orders, but all delivered promptly..no back orders..even thru the Christmas holidays. Was advised that delivery might take a few extra days because of the high volumne of Christmas orders, but was still recieved on the normal schedule.
Thank you Great Lakes! I wish I had found you sooner. We are a HIGH END school and the selection of scrip has prompted more purchases this year than in the past four! Nordstroms has moved to the number two spot behind Starbucks. We are estatic with the high level of service, communication, and website capabilities. Not to mention ZERO back orders!! Yeah!
Wow - our own blog area! That usually means you're in trouble - I hope it's not bad luck! We have never posted at Tim's site before because it's not our style to give info out on other companies. There is certainly a long history of stories we could tell over the last 11 years.
Let me be the first to thank the many GLSC customers who have posted some wonderful things about us over the last several months. I'm sure there will be a few postings that aren't so flattering soon enough. Thank you to the many understanding customers who have been very patient since Dec 5th.
We have been preparing a lot since the wave of new sign ups starting in June of '05. We anticipated correctly on just about every turn of events up until then. There are just some things that we couldn't have fathomed until we experienced it (like internet bandwidth for one). We have a surprisingly short list of upgrades slated for January brainstorming sessions that will make great strides getting us through fall of '06!
Thank you to the many NPO's who have supported us through the years (and last few weeks and months).
May you all have a blessed Christmas season and look forward to an incredible 2006.
