I'm the auction chair of our gala this year and have had luck getting small things- LOTS of tickets and such which will be great for the silent auction but not having as much luck with the Live Auction. We are in Chicago and are working on prize trips to Seattle and to Washington D.C. We have some cool experiences planned at both but no luck with airfare or especially lodging. I've found that many large corporations simply won't donate to schools.

Any suggestions for the Seattle and DC area for lodging, transportation around the city, restaurants etc?

I submitted an application to disney on November 12th... I hear of everyone hearing from them in a few hours to a few days. Should I be concerned? Will I receive an email if they need more information? I'm new to all of this. Thank you!!

Is the Elite Vacation one of the time share things where the guest have to sit through a presentation?

They donate to schools as far as I know. I am in NJ and they have always donated to me.
