For our tricky tray we use large plastic take-out containers, such as a quart of soup or Chinese food. These are fairly sturdy. We leave the lid on but cut a small rectangle out of the center to drop the ticket in. They are more costly than bags, but we reuse them every year.

HI! Absolutely love this board, certainly has helped me a lot.
I am looking for some advice and opinions in regards to tricky trays!
Our organizations tricky tray has done incredible over the past years, this is our 16th year with an expected guest amount of 700 and hoping to raise well over $20,000. Last year with 500 guests we raised $17,000.
This year we are looking to try something different versus calling our (300+) baskets live, does anyone have any suggestions? We were thinking of having table numbers on the backs of their tickets (that yes we would be crazy enough to stamp or write- but with 50 volunteers shouldn't be too hard) and while the attendees are enjoying their sit down three course meal, we will be pulling tickets in the cocktail area where baskets will be located and then our "basket runners" will run the baskets to the tables directly and announce a winner at the table which is when they would check their tickets for the matching win! Not sure if this explanation is thorough enough but somehow in my head it makes sense lol
Has anyone seen anything like this or have a better idea? Would love to hear it.
Also- as far as dropping tickets into the baskets associated bag- has anyone ever seen something other than bags done for this? I know bags are cheap but we had issues last year with bags being knocked over (even when they were secured to the table) spilling tickets and so forth. Any ideas on how to prevent this or other options other than bags for the ticket drop?
Lastly- how much cellophane should I expect to get? We are looking at 300 baskets and I would like to order it bulk however I am clueless on the quantity I would need.
if anyone would prefer to email me personally instead to offer suggestions my email is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
For Superpretzel: I sent a message from their contact us link from their website. We are a located in South Jersey near their distribution center though, so I don't know if that mattered.
Where did you email for the stampin up donation request? I attempted to send my request to the address I had been given (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) but the mail was undeliverable and returned to me. :(
