Thanks to this site I have just received
4 Park Hopper tickets to Disney
Stampin Up - $300 box of stuff
2013 "Saige" American Girl doll and book
I have also contacted local children's authors. I just googled children's authors in Texas, since that is where I am. I went to their websites and sent a letter to their "contact me" or sent an email. I have had one local author reply saying they would donate signed books.
I also contacted the author of Pete the Cat books and he will also donate a signed book.
Try your local supermarkets. Sprouts, Trader Joe's and Vons have all donated drinks/ snacks to us in the past. Costco donates too. You have to ask for a form from the manager.
I am so glad I found this site. It has been such a help.
Does anyone know any places that donate water/soda to events like this?
ALso, I contacted Dabbawalla Bags after seeing it on here and got a response that they are a small 2 person company and have gotten so many requests they have exceeded there budget for this year.
HEY EVERYONE! THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME SIGHT AND GOT ALOT OF GREAT IDEAS FOR CORP COMPANIES. OUR ORGANIZATION IS HAVING THEIR FIRST FUNDRAISER IN THE PITTSBURGH AREA. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ANY LOCAL RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, AMUSEMENTS, BARS, ETC. THAT ARE WILLING TO DONATE? ANY SUGGESTION WOULD BE A HUGE HELP FOR A FIRST TIMER!
