We are adding a chance to win "The Best Seat In the House" We are having the event in the school cafeteria/auditorium. for the Best Seat we will have an 8x10 area rug with throw pillows or bean bag chairs (we are looking for donations). The winner can have up to 4 people on the rug with them, they will get unlimited popcorn and lemonade during the movie, delivered to them throughout the evening. We haven't decided on the price for the ticket but probably around $4. We are asking a retail chain to donate a copy of the movie to give away to the winner as well.

Family movie nights are great when they are done right. Many schools have professional equipment (sound and projection) and someone on staff who can operate and troubleshoot when problems arise. However there are also many schools that have great equipment but not too good for large groups in an entertainment situation. The projection may not be as good in resolution or brightness or just the whole connecting up may be a challenge.

There are many companies now that do the full set-up for around $300.00. No worries, no hassles, back-up equipment and a great presentation.

Since I respect that it is not proper for me to promote my business in a forum such as this. I can mention that you can do a local internet search for companies in your area that may be able to help. Also, take advantage of the PTO Today directories.

I hope this helps,

Danell-
You can still have your Family Movie Night on the 9th- fear not! It's just that this year's kit is not done being updated yet. Send me your email and I will send you a PDF of the movie license that you can print out. Sounds like a fun way to kick off the year. What movie are you showing?

Patricia-
500 people. That's amazing. Sounds like a fun event!
