So, my college career is off to a blazing start:
I had five assignments due by midnight last night for my online English course. I got a 10/10, a 5/5, a 7/7 a 0/5 and a 0/10. What?
Two zeros? How did that happen? Oh, one assignment was on the printed syllabus but not in the online Week 1 folder. One assignment due date was changed to Tuesday but the computer still saw it as incomplete and assigned a zero. Aye yi yi. It seems I'm going to learn a lot in college and most of it isn't going to be from the textbooks!
In Music Appreciation I was the only one who read the assigned chapter and, therefore, was the only one able to carry on an informed conversation with the instructor. So now I look like the class suck-up/smarty pants. That along with being twice as old and any other student is not doing much for my popularity. Oh well, I guess I won't get invited to any frat parties...
