Keep it positive with the new PTA. Rant here and then go to that Open House and let them know you're ready to help where they need it. Maybe you could hint around by letting them know the areas you're great in - maybe wait on the drink list - although since we're finally at our 1st Day - I'm ready for it!
Shawn, "no homework"... every kids dream... keep it possitive! You seem full of ideas & motivation- you will liven, refresh and inform your new school & PTA.
My motto in life, "It's all good"
I'm known for that one. It's been a rough few years dealing with my husbands health issue- felt like a single mom of 4 for a while. I HAD to change my state of mind or I think I would have gone off the deep end.
Okay hope wveryone had great weekend time for a Shawn rant and questions

mykids - We're not exactly in the same league as the Force family! We're more the 'expensive hobby' racers. But I do know plenty of men who like to be grouchy and yell a lot on race day. Well, one in particular anyway.
Had to run to Atlanta and back today (7 hour round trip.....wheeeewwww). I saw the Six Flags park and the Goliath roller coaster from the highway. Nope, I won't be doing that. While in civilization we got some shopping done (Barnes & Noble, YEAH). Just got back home.
I hope everyone enjoyed thier weekend!
