You too Crew- & peeves do belong here! This is a great place to step out of the box and vent- better here then to create gossip & negativity to your PTO board!

WE LOVE ZYRTEC!!!! My whole family takes it. Nothing else seems to help. I have allergies that are enviromental- mold, duct mites & I get hives from time to time- last time I got hives my face started swelling, then lips and tongue- took zyrtec and it was gone before I got to ER. My kids use the same dose as me. Okay - I feel like an advertisement.
I shouldn't say it, because we know how it goes, but we have not gotten sick yet. When something hits one of us it takes weeks to recover - spreads like wild fire in a small house of 6 people!
By the way- how did you all pass through 2 pages without me? Guess I have been busy.

I got an email from Starbucks, they have a new froofy drink-the maple macchiato. With the carnival less than two weeks away and running the fundraiser long to try to get every cent possible, I need as much as I can get.

On another note, yesterday my husband and I were just talking about all the extra money sitting in our flex spending account that needs to be spent by the end of the year. He was planning for some new glasses and I was thinking of stocking up on all those medicines you can never have too much of and then we spend a night in the ER. That's life. The funny thing is, we usually empty the account before June 1st and this year we have a whole bunch extra. Go figure.

I did find out something good about our low fundraiser. One of our local companies is planning a strike on Thursday and most schools in our area are just starting their fundrasiers, so we lucked out a bit. Regardless, we have a cookie dough sale coming up in November that did really good for us last year and I'm hoping it will do the same this year.

Did I mention I caught my dog chewing on the picnic table? He was taking big hunks of wood off of it!!! This is the same dog that doesn't like dog treats. I guess God thought I needed a good laugh.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

GaMom - I think I am going to see what I can do to help. I don't want to appear arrogant, you know, ride in on my white horse and save the day. I'm not "all that". I think there is a lot for me to learn here. I've been blessed to walk into so many wonderful communities and I've learned something each time. This place presents it's own unique challenges. I hope I can help but I'm also very sure that I'll, once again, learn so much. Lucky for me I know just where to turn when I get in over my head!

Hubby realizes that I need to feel like I'm contributing. We move so often and it seems like, at first anyway, that we take so much more than we give. Once we're settled it's important for me to find ways to let the community know how much I appreciate being a part of it.

I went to the doctor this morning. My thyroid is too low, my pro-time (clotting time) is too low and my cholesterol is through the roof! I have to meet with a nutritionist next week to help me manage my diet, exercise and meds. Sheesh. I'm only 41!!!

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."
