Ok CC - I seriously need to come work out at your gym! I have a weakness for firefighters-and policemen, and the military guys - shoot anyone in a uniform (with a particular affinity for Marines)! I'm near you Thanksgiving weekend.... can I come play at your gym?

Yippee - I like a little Baileys in my coffee but, oooo, margaritas are good too. Thanks T!
My son loves karate too but, sadly, no yummy instructors for me to watch - they're both girls. Rock hard, kick @$$ girls but still girls.....
That's why I go to the gym. The local firefighters just happen to work out the same times/days as me. That's all the inspiration I need to do another 150 crunches.
Yippee, too, that your oldest is on the mend. That's always a relief.
Scottsmom - put a little something strong and yummy in that coffee (ala irsh coffee ) !
Well, my baby has joined the hordes of kids in Karate and.........she absoulty, without a doube LOVED, Loved, loved it ! So much so that she didn't want to leave the classroom. She has charmed her teachers ( she's a natural born flirt - takes after me in that dept ) and wowed them with her flexability, even though she's never been to anykind of dance or gymnastics class. Let me tell you = going to these classes won't be any kind of a hardship for me! There are several very cute male instructors and they are a lot fun to watch!
Also, drum roll please....... my oldest seems to have turned the corner and is on the mend! Woooooooohoooooooo! This calls for a drink. A round of margaritas for all tonight!

Did I mention our carnival is Saturday? Well my croupy child now has bilateral ear infections to boot. We've got new issues with who pays who from what money and why, and to be honest-I don't care. I just want to get through this without anymore sick kids, weird donations, pickle juice in my truck, and limited contact with crazy parents or staff. I'm also tired of teachers who can't send home important notes. I'm off to bake a couple of cakes before bed. Maybe I'll have a cup of half caf too.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
As much as I hate those car DVD players, I have to say if you have one, take it on the plane with earphones, along with several of the favorite movies. We did this going to Dallas and talk about smooth flying!
On a great note--we got 2 free tickets to the upcoming race at Atlanta Motor Speedway to raffle at our carnival. AMS is less than a mile from our school, yet no one thought to ask them for tickets before. I couldn't believe they had not been asked for anything before! The really great thing is the race is the following weekend from our carnival!!! I so love Kasey Khane!!
I feel your pain luv. I put out some PTO stuff that we didn't need and thought teachers could use but asked that they please leave the boxes the stuff was in and all but one box was taken. Give me a break, just return my box so I can keep my whole in the wall organized. When I put candy in the 5 workrooms one year for TAW, people kept trying to take the baskets the candy was in. I guess at least you still have your jar.
In the process of attempting the coffee bean solution to my pickle issue, hasn't been in there very long but pickles and coffee are definately not on the menu at my house. I keep thinking this probably wouldn't bother me at all if I were pregnant!
