 Grew up in Indy- I love Coach Knight- Glad he proved everyone wrong and has turned TTech around -- even got to converse with him a few times- great man (dont always agree with his way but his principals are unwavering) Graduate, be a productive member of society, be the best person you can be, then maybe a great basketball player- as much as I love sports and have great repsect for a few journalists- the lot are akin to a plague of uptight, idiotic, sensationalist instead of actual story tellers OR factual newspeople
If you havent sent the thankyou cards from Xerox check out this place too (i did 10 from various family members- It only took less than 5 min)

Hey Shawn, I'm a Texas Tech alum...love Coach Knight. My mother saw him the other night, he had choice words for all of the crazies in the media...he assured her that he has no problem telling them to buzz off (like usual). She said he was in great spitits.
Yes, there has been sad news and, for me personally, some events this week that have caused me to reevaluate priorities and clarify a list of things I'm thankful for this year:
*People who can put other's needs above their own to make the world a better, safer place for everyone.
*People who will be your family when your real family flakes out on you.
*A husband who is my best friend and a son who is my whole heart.
*Friends like all of you!
*George Clooney - People magazine's 2006 Sexiest Man Alive.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."
"The ultimate aim of karate lies not in victory or defeat but in the true perfection of one's character."
I'm watching the news last night and the story of the bus crash comes on. Why oh why do they have to show the bodies covered with sheets? My heart breaks even more for those families as their tragedy is displayed for all to see.
