CC-Breathe, grab a latte and go. You'll get it done. I'm so excited you found a house. Hopefully your new school will be more parent friendly. I guess you could look at your current situation as an omen that you weren't staying long.
Yesterday we spent almost 3 hours Chuck E Cheese, just hanging out with the kids. Today I'm cleaning for a dinner I'm hosting on Thursday and company all weekend. I found some really great smelling cleaning products in a magazine I read so I'm using them. Everything smells clean but not hospital smelling. The cleaners are safe, so when my 3 year old tries to help I can let him. Gotta teach em young or they never learn.
I'm getting recognized for my volunteer work at the church tonight, which is really cool because I never saw myself as the bible school teacher type and it's really helped me not get so caught up on silly PTO things. Have a great day all!

Hey Lu! Nice to "see" you!! You sure have a busy week ahead of you. Good luck with your Santa Shop.
Wow, it's been a whirlwind weekend. We found a house! It's beautiful, builder is almost done with it and will start on the garage soon so it'll be done before closing. We're seasoned veterans in the home buying/selling areana. We know exactly what we need and don't mess around. We looked at six houses - only went inside four of them - and found the perfect house the first day! It's not in the same school district as the one we moved away from this summer but it's near by.
Now I have to wrap 30 presents, ship 6 boxes, pack for vacation and get my house in "show" condition so the appraisers can come out - all in 2 1/2 days. I can do it.....

Wow! I think it has been a month since I have been on the boards!! Time is sure flying! Just wanted to say hi & happy holidays to everyone- I'm off to set up the holiday shoppe at school & probably won't have a spare minute until Jan.7! So... see you next year!
This time last year, I finished my last final in time to get to the school to pass out cookie dough. It will be over soon and you'll wonder where the time went.
At the last minute, we adopted a family for Christmas (we had a little extra money leftover and thought we'd put it to good use.) Anyway, we were out with all the wild eyed people looking for who knows what yesterday and found some great deals. Walmart had all kinds of stuff marked down, not advertised. If I didn't have so many people to buy for ahead of time (3 parties down 2 to go) I would wait til the last minute. Of course, my parents always waited until Christmas Eve and I never got anything I wanted. My brother in law admitted that he didn't go shopping until 5:00am this morning for the party we had today at 11:00am! That's just insane.

1. So true!
2. True
3. Are you sure? Sure feels like it!
Thanks for the encouraging words Silver! I'm taking some time out to go to My little ones belt test and do some shopping. I'll be back and let you all know how it went!
