Hey Pottsvillemom...sounds like your PTO has some really great ideas....How do you go about you king/queen contest? What exactly is the bopper walk and head boppers? and then the pickle walk...if a person doesn't have a pickle factory available...how would you go about doing this? I'm just trying to get new ideas for our fall festival. In the past, we revolved around halloween...this year, due to conflicting activities...we are just going with the fall theme instead of halloween...anyone with any great ideas that work for their orgs...post them and share them....thanks to all

Has anybody tried that Sandy Candy stuff at fall festival type events? I saw it at the PTOShow in Mass. I was thinking we would try that instead of sand. I guess it is a colored sugar type substance. They pour different colors intoa tube and can make some pretty cool color designs. Just wondering if you have tried it?

Iam a new president of our PTA and I was interested in knowing more about the King & Queen raffle.
Are the kids voting who they want to pick w/their $.50 donation? And do you have a ballot for them to use or do they pick anyone in the school? Do you have to connect it to a fair or festival? We have never done one at the school and was wondering how to get started with it all?
