Has anyone used Radio Disney for an Assembly?

Our last assembly was The Brain Show...check them out - the kids are already asking when they are coming back. We had Prismatic Magic too - and the kids loved that - we had them every other year.

Our summer program in Nassau Co. just had Prismatic's science/summer jam program and was a huge, huge hit. Thanks for the tip!

This was way, way better and more educational then the lazer show I remember from the early eighties at the Hayden Planetarium in NY ;)

Any other great science programs people recommend on LI?

I am the enrichment coordinator for our private catholic school. This year we have had both Radio Disney for $2000 and then Prismatic Magic for $895. Radio Disney was a flop! Definitely not worth the money! They had four people there to entertain over 400 students. They had no handle on crowd control and as they were working with one group of students the rest were very bored. I was told that they handle huge crowds of kids all the time and could entertain 400 kids with no problem. We at the school and the kids were very dissappointed and felt that they were all about getting the money not the kids. The free give aways were mostly book marks! A big waste of our limited funds. On the other hand, Prismatic Magic's laser show was a huge success! They entertained and educated all 400 kids at once and had the attention and interest of all the kids and the teachers! They put on a great show with contemporary music that the kids loved! What they can do with lasers is amazing! Next year we will have them back! Forget Radio Disney unless you have alot of money to waste!

In conjunction with the District Wide Health & Wellness Day likely means that either the district paid the majority or maybe it was split between numerous PTOs.

I verified with my wife, whi had set up Radio Disney for the September Back to School event. The initially quoted price, for a school event, was $1800, but since we used them the previous year we were able to get a discounted price of $1500.

How did you only pay $200.00
Most are saying it cost them 2,000.00
That's just too much for 1 assembly--
Thanks
