My son was in K last year and they learned their phone numbers as part of the cirriculum. Each child had a piece of paper that they drew a self portrait on, wrote their name and number under it. The teacher copied all of these off and made a book for every student in her class. She also included a picture of herself with her name and room phone number. This may not be what you are thinking, but I loved the idea for that grade and it was great to let the students do the work. I guess a parent or volunteer could make the copies and put them together.

Our school is trying the directory but we are doing it by class. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to put it together we have some ideas but nothing for sure? What if a child doesn't turn any info in.
