I am the new President for our PTO and I proposed a buddy program for new parents to be hooked up with veterans of the school, however, the Principle wouldn't make a decision to do it or not. I think the Welcome Packet is a great idea. I did send out a short letter last year to new parents but would love some new ideas as well.
