Rocket,
Sounds awesome. Can I have a look? This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
I would love to see it. I am a new President that was thrown out there and didn't know what to do for events. A form like this will save the next person a lot of headaches.

Hi Rocket, I'll take a look at the form for you.
E-mail me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. I write detailed notes for any event I chair but having it on a form would probably be easier.
You know how every year you feel like your parent group has to start from scratch? We created a form to send to event team leaders (that's what we call our chairpersons). We plan to send it to them all and ask them to fill it out asap and return it to our parent group. Then we will keep them on file in a file cabinet in the school - permanently!
Our goal is to be able to create a PERMANENT file for each event so that any new volunteers could read it over and know exactly what steps to take to create an equally successful event. We ask for a lot of details in planning, costs, what was purchased, what went wrong, what pitfalls to look out for, any organizations or business contacts with names/numbers for the future, and so forth.
If anyone would like to look it over and give me their feedback, I would appreciate it so much. We might be missing something important that we should ask. Thanks-
