The incoming board donated a book to the library in my name, and gave me a nice gift certificate to local shop.

We had a gal do this of another officer and went more on the practical joke way. She kept it clean but too many inside jokes that made it hard to find that funny. But she gave her sunglasses because her kids future is bright...a small fan to help her "keep her cool"...a package of depends for those long hours in the library...I'm sure you see the point.

I recieved from a friend I helped/volunteered with Chicken Soup for the Volunteer. Great book! Nicer gift!

When I finished my two year term as President(it was along two years with many huge changes going on at our school), the other members of the board gave me a beautiful rose bush to add to my flower garden. Each of these past two summers, I have gotten great pleasure from watching it grow and bloom and remembering the wonderful people who I had the honor of working with throughout those two years. This year it had so many blooms I cut some and took them to the friend who had picked out the bush.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

We did a bath set for an outgoing president that included bath salts, bathtub pillow, lotions etc. Also a great gift for a new mom...
You could also get a spa certificate. After three years, she'd probably enjoy the downtime.

My co pres of 3 years is moving on. She will no longer have a child at our school. We have worked well together and I will miss her tremendously. I would love to present her with a poem or a post PTO "survival kit" Any ideas for items to put in or sayings? Help!! And Thanks.
