Hello all you new PTO Treasures. I too have begun this position. I have read all the excitement about the Critter method and would love the forms for Excel and Quicken. I was handed down a very time consuming and confusing system and have spent hours trying to get organized. This sounds like a life saver. Thank you so much for the forward. I use Quicken 98 (old version, don't know if it looks different today) and I know others here do too. I also looked at MSMoney 2002 Standard (the cheapest version), but I prefer the simplicity of Quicken. I am not familiar with Quickbooks.

I should also add, however, that while I use Quicken for check reconciliation and ledger posting (i.e. the history of our transactions against our account categories), I use Excel for my monthly report. I just like the flexibility in formatting in excel better. Email me if you want a copy of the excel file.

ok........the suspense is killing me..!! i HAVE to see these forms CRITTER is now so famous for....!!! i, however, seem to be on the other end of this problem.......the previous treasurer used a copy of software for his business called 'quickbooks pro'..........this software is WAY TOO COMPLICATED for our needs.....is there any industry-specific software out there? anyway, i'd like to find a way to simplify things.........all i see is people flipping through pages with blank looks on their faces when i'm presenting the treasurer's report......it's overkill!! thanks!!!
