We used myschoolonline for our PTA website also. They were at National PTA's Convention this past June and gave a workshop on how to set a web site up and answered everyone's questions. I did this all by myself and have now assigned pages to certain people to maintain. The online help is quick and easy also. Take a peek and let me know what you think. www.myschoolonline.com/ny/wmipta

Another thumbs up to myschoolonline.com

I just completed our group site and it was very user friendly.

I am open to suggestions for adding listserves (for newsletters, etc) and any other features.

just trying to spread the word for a new forum that a few of you might want to check out - it's at groups.yahoo.com/group/PTANewsletter_Websites

I don't know much about the full site - brand new - but the general concept seems good. Here's the initial mesage.

" I hope this group will be a valuable tool to all those involved in
producing their PTA newsletters and websites...."

We also made a web site for our PTO for free on geocities www.geocities.com/mom2alexa2000/PTO1.html?995521116730

It took one night but we plan to update it daily when school starts to keep parents informed. We also liked an idea we found on another PTO website, when you visit the site once a month and fill out a form and it will send it to me automatically and your child will receive a gold card and at the end of the year you have drawings. However we are still tossing the idea around just in case some parents don't have access to the internet. Well take a peek and let me know what you think of our new site.
