Is everyones dues around $6? Or are they any that are on the lower side. Also what is inside a school directery? Also, do you collect dues so that you have a more firm head count on peoplt that want to help?
We have about 216 students. We have no membership dues. We hold meetings once a month and we get the same 7 people and the principal. We would be lucky to see a teacher. Due are you kidding, that would really limit us. We get good attendance at our first meeting in October (pot luck) about 30-45. Other than that it has been the same old group. The past leaders were very clicky and we have tried to open things up to everyone making everyone feel welcome, but I feel that it is hard to get away from that history.(small town)
We have about 310 students (K-1), about 290 families. We have about 215 member families (dues are $6/year and get you the school directory). I'm not sure how many teachers have actually paid dues, but there is always at least 1 at our monthly meetings. We have about 20 real active members and many more who help out with big events that need many hands.
We have about 800 students in our school...and average attendance at meeting is 12. The same 12. Every month. I wish I knew how to increase attendance. Volunteer hours can range from 150-300 or more hours per month.
Our school has 350 students (roughly 200 families). We have 125 paid members with 100% teacher participation...including gym, music, art & school secretary. On average we have 25 people at general membership meetings. But, our volunteer support is very high. At our last meeting 7 of the 12 teacher attended.
