We need help! there is a "group" of parents that actually did the majority of getting our principal fired (the principal can finish the year but then they are out). This will in no doubt be a legal issue, but for us as a pto we are divided. This "group" of parents sit all in a row or at the same table, hate our treasurer and therefor will not approve her minutes and continue to argue at every meeting. We have not had one meeting yet this year when they have not started an argument. Now we have people who are afraid to come to PTO meetings because of all of this. We have asked what is the problem but get the response that they just want THEIR pto back. I think when they elected me as president they thought I would follow them. I don't like their little group as they keep all of the committees within themselves to keep them the same. I love new people, fresh ideas and things being open and equal to all of the parents, not just one group. I really want to lay into them for doing this to our principal, their messing with peoples lives and they think this is a game. HELP!
