We are a new PTO. I would like to figure out a way to kick off our PTO Membership drive with a minimal amount of paper.
Last year our welcome letter was 3 pages (2 pieces of paper)(including the form to sign up.) I would like to get people signed up and only use 1 sheet of paper or even better NO PAPER!!
Since we are new we are using paper and copying from the school. I hope to change this very soon but in the mean time what suggestions do you have to reduce the amount of paper we use to inform the parents of our existence and our desire for them to join us?
I do have a website and I will be putting a full membership packet/ welcome letter on the website but because we are new, I'm not sure how many parents are even aware that we HAVE a website.
What ideas do you have for me???I really need to pull in a LOT of members (3 of us are the entire PTO right now) but I need to stay away from the copy machine!!! (And printing up 2000-3000 page on my home printer right ow really isn't an option either.
I need new ink cartridges and don't have time to order them.)
