We've got a situation where the board isn't following the Bylaws, clearly gives preferential treatment, the principal is in it up to her eyeballs, etc. We don't know what to do either and are looking for help too.
Any ideas? Our Pto is in a complete uproar! The good ol' boys are running the show and resist change! Even when bylaws, and policy and procedure are not being followed. Nominations forms dissapeared, elections staged, and roberts rules of order were never even heard of. every attempt to correct this problem has been shot down and called an embarrassment. Voting consists of nothing more than shaking of the heads and the PTO president doing whatever she like!! Even distributing $ without asking anyone or concidering bringing it before the general membership. She is the principals person piggy bank! Help!! I'm clueless what else I can do to rectify this sitution.
