Who's on your board?

Our Exec Board consists of 2 Co-Presidents, a Treasurer, a Recording Sec (takes and reads minutes) and a Cooresponding Sec (arranges get-well cards; accepts thank you notes).

The Principal is very involved but does not serve on the board.

There are also 2 Teach Reps to the PTO (only one is filled this year)

Our board:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Principal or principal's rep
Up to 2 staff reps, appointed by principal
Up to 2 at-large parent reps, one being the past president
Chairs of standing committees, at their option

It was hard to get the staff reps since we had to meet during the school day, so we have only one. The past president is the secretary, so that seat is open.

If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down. <img src=images/smilies/smile.gif>

We have one and only one president (per the bylaws), up to two co-presidents, corresponding secretary (communications and marketing), recording secretary (minutes and agendas) and treasurer. Our VP's are responsible for overseeing the committees which includes volunteer recruitment.

As both a former treasurer and secretary, I would not recommend combining the secretary and treasurer position. Too much work for one person. In fact, we split our secretary position into 2 so we could spread out the work load and get more people involved.

We have President, Vice President, Secretary (recording and correspondance) and Treasurer. Right now the President and Vice are handling everything. We can't get in touch with the secretary and NO ONE wanted treasurer. To get things done we just do whatever needs to be done.

We have two co-pres (makes this position much easier to bear) vice pres, treasurer, secretary, alternate and sunshine person.

I was thinking of adding on a volunteer coordinator position or something for next year or something like that.

We have two co-pres (senior and junior positions)secretary and treasurer on our executive commitee. The executive committee can make decisions in between scheduled meetings. The executive board includes the principal(it is supposed to be advisory/liason) and the chair persons of committees in effect.
