Who can come to Board Meetings

She attends every board and general meeting unless she is sick or out of town. She even showed up after she had major foot surgery! She loves our group and supports us completely. She is a member of the board and has all voting rights.

I often invite other parents to attend our board meetings. What we're doing isn't top secret! And, I find it encourages parents to get involved at a deeper level... you know, the whole "grooming your future leaders" thing!
Our principal always attends our meetings... but we have a strong working relationship with our principal. I understand that all parent groups aren't this lucky!

Luv or anyone else,

Does your principal come to board meetings on a regular basis?

We let parents sit in on the board meetings if they want, but they cannot participate in the discussion unless they were invited to attend for some reason(have knowledge in an area we need help with). It happens rarely because most don't want to come that early and then stay for the general meeting too. We do have committee chairs and members attend the board meeting if we need to get info on their event.

Hello,
I can not find in our current bylaws anywhere where it says who can come to a board meeting. We have a memeber who wants to come. I thought that the Board meeting is for the board memebers only and the general pto meeting is for all memebers. Does anyone know the answer?
