Yeah! I'm so excited to share. I am in process of working on our website - hopefully will have it done this weekend. But you can still see the pages I have inluded. I literally looked at least 100 PTO/PTA sites - It was exhausting, but so helpful to see what I should put on the website.

We went through web page . IT'S FREE!!! Can't beat that! I am at a school starting its 2nd year & our PTO is starting its 1st - very little funds right now.

I know html, but really you do not need to know any to build a site. They do not limit you by space, instead they give you 10 extra pages including your home page.

You can upload your own pictures and have documents downloaded. Funny thing was I kept their main picture because we're the eagels. Having documents downloaded saved me & will save me so much time. I am the Secretary and everything is on my computer. I just upload my documents and those who visit can download - I love that!

Our By-laws will hopefully be passed on Monday and then I can get those up.

I'm building a website for our pto. If anyone would like to share their pto's website address, I would like to check them out.

The pages I have included are as follows:

Home Page (Introduction & board members names and numbers), Agenda Page, Minutes Page, Treasurer's Report, Volunteer's Page (List of our Fundraisers/Family Fun Nights that we would need volunteers for), Calendar Page, and a Page for the Bylaws. Is there anything else you can think of that we could offer? Especially something that would encourage people to come back to the site often?

Another big question is whether or not your website is through your schools website or if you had to get your own domain name and host? If you had to do it all your self, I would like to know who is hosting your website, how much it costs per year, and if you've been having any problems with your host?
