I went local, but if the local doesn't do it then go ahead and go corporate. Sometimes these things are weird. An example would be like the person who got the gift certificates from CVS pharmacy. I got $25 locally worth of merchandise and the corporate office turned me down. A well known resturant turned me down locally and I faxed a coporate letter and they sent a gift card. Just keep trying. Good Luck
I am so excited to tell you that I recieved a beautiful ruby pendant from Kay Jewelers. It is a gold chain with 3 ruby hearts that get smaller as they go down.
You are right. A lot of companies have allocated their charitable funds to the military overseas and to the victims of the series of hurricanes that happened over the last month or so. But keep it up. Your letters might just reach the right person on the right day.
This is a super idea guys, I would love a list of these places. I would like to make up some auction baskets in the spring, and these would be great to add to them.
How is everyone doing with responses from the national donation list? I am not doing so hot! Anyone out there also experiencing a lot of "No" response?
