I wanted to know is there a limit on donations that you can get from area bussiness,and do i need to submitt a letter head from the school for them to tax deduct the product.
I am new here as well and in need of alot of help our school is not doing well with any of our fundraising and we too would be interested in the list of donations, as well i am in charge of sending out a letter to business for donations, if anyone has business letter template for donations our school would greatly appreciate it.
You can check out the file exchange on this site, it has some great info, plus you use the search ifno here also, just type in donations in the search area , you should get alot of info that way. Plus check company websites to see what their donation procedure is. Most companies require a 6 to 8 week notice on requests. Good Luck!

I am in charge of drafting a letter to send to business for donations for our Spring Carnival. We are looking for anything from gift certificates to certificates for services to items to money.
Does anyone have a letter template that I can use? - I just dont know where to start. Any and all ideas are welcome as well since I have no idea where to send these letters. Some thoughts I had was Mcdonalds,Marc's stores, Walmart, but after that I'm just not sure.
