I just received a copy of the Spring stuff from our KB Rep, they have a no food catalog for schools that need it, as well as, several different food inserts you can pick and choose to add if you want. You could also look into pushing the online sale so you don't lose the business of people that only want food.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
Gooseberry Patch has a fundraiser as well. I don't know anything about how well it works, etc. Our school's PTA does all fundraisers in-school and never asks our students to sell anything. I really like that. Here are the fundraisers we hold:
T-shirts
2 Scholastic Book Fairs
Book Bingo
Santa Shop
Dinner/Raffle
Carnival
Garage Sale
I found out about the olan mills fundraiser. It is a portrait fundraiser and does not cost anything (100% profit). My friend said her school is doing it again because of Christmas and it is great. Everyone wants photos for christmas. She said the number is on their website olanmills.com.
I did Dutch Mill Bulbs last year. They have fall and spring catalogues. All items are $5.00 and you get 50%. We made almost $3,000. on that last spring. Also, Sally Foster does have a non-food catalog if you are still interested in selling gift wrap.
I have recently heard of a portrait fundraiser that a lot of schools are using. It is through Olan Mills. they have a website with a phone number or something and it is under fundraising. you might check into that.
