for our 8th grade students going on the 8th grade trip we sell ---here we call them spring trip cards--but they are like a credit card with discounts on the back--from local businesses--mostly resturants--subway buy 1 six inch get one free, buy a whopper get one free, etc. And the card is good for a year. We sell them for $10 a piece and we get $5 profit. I use my card all the time--it was well worth the $10(OK now everyone knows we eat out tooo much lol!!).
I really don't know alot about the company but I know our school has used them for this trip fundraiser for a few years--and everyone can't wait till the cards are being sold LOL!!

I know someone who does fundraising coupons and custom scratch cards. They seem to work out pretty well. My son's school did one last year for a buy 1 get one free pizza deal and the school made around 12,000 dollars. there was no inventory involved other than the coupons. Actually many stores are starting to sell (at reasonable cost) BIG canvas bags with their logo on them, to use when shopping/carrying home,,,dont look girlie at all,,,you can buy them there (wont mention which grocers lest I advertise for them).

I bring a cardboard box, have the bagger put all groceries in the box, and the box goes in the trunk of car, and then into kitchen, no 100s of bags to carry. And free.

All it takes is some biceps.

OK question time

Why would I buy a bag that cant hold more than a few days groceries?
Paper bags - I just take with me when I shop?
Do you have any that arent so girly looking? (2 million men - are stay at home Dads and do grocery shop)

kind of like BYOB 'Bring your own bag' to the grocery store, a great way to go, IMO!
the other way to get change going, is to demand of the supermarkets to CHARGE a per plastic or paper bag charge, for all bags used. Many people wont switch to bringing their own carrybags, until it starts to hit em in their own pockets, unfortunately. Many european countries do it this way, when the voluntary route didnt work. Ie you may sell lots of bags, but if people dont use them, it hasnt helped solve the original problem you set out to solve. But, a great start for getting peoples AWARENESS up, of the matter. Especially the kids, becuase even if their parents dont reduce waste, hopefully our kids will, if its not too late by then !!! thanks for the great link!
