Metz--a friend of mine suggested this, but I'm really wary about it, espcially since we don't have any budget. The way it was explained to me, the dealer would let us raffle the car. We would be responsible for paying the dealer's cost for that car upon the drawing. The idea is we would sell tickets for like $200 apiece--and I just can't see people paying that much for a raffle ticket. I could be wrong --it HAS been known to happen on occasion --but I don't want to find out I'm right then be stuck holding the bill for the car!
Let me know how it worked out for you--If the dealer is donating the car I say go for it!
Meanwhile, everyone ask friends, have them ask friends, and so on and so on and so on. Eventually we will find someone who has done this... KEEP ASKING!!!
A friend of mine in another city told me her school raffles off a car and I can't imagine how you do that. Do you think a dealership would donate a new car?? free? I asked my friend to check on the details of this but I haven't heard them yet.
Keep us posted!
