Our school is doing a fall festival and we're working on trying to get as much as possible donated or deeply discounted. Has anyone done this successfully with a school that's basically 90% low income? This is my first year being the chair for this so I would appreciate any and all input.

Hi everyone,

I just came across this site. I've been looking for schools in the ny city area to donate boxtops for education to. If you know of any please post info.
I have quite a few.

What I like about your site is that I can post easily. Thank You.

We are a low-income community and we do a winter shopping spree for kids. We can't say santa secrect shop because of the different religions. The kids love it. I love to see the smiles on their faces knowing that they are shopping for their family without them knowing it. We have some kids thsat cant afford it so they are aloud to get one gift for their parents we pitch in the money. We also do box tops which are really big. We sell smencils for a dollar. Last year we did the art to remember and couldnt believe how much people bought. This year we are gonna focus on more hands on fundraisers and getting the community involved instead of sending stuff home.
