I was given a voucher when an item I ordered was out of stock. It said it was good through May 1 but when I went to their site to use it I see that it is temporarily closed until July! Will they still honor it when the site goes back up or am I out my $22! Some fundraiser...for them!
Are you looking at the product or a flyer? My son's baseball team just sold their dough, I just pulled a tub and box out of the freezer and they both have a complete list of ingredients on them.
Well, that is noble of them. Don't most fundraising companies always replace lost, damaged, and stolen items? "Concern", you are right, they still have to deliver the cookie dough to the school anyway, so why not have the catalog as before? I remember a gift card that another company promoted--the communication gap between the student/school and the ultimate consumer hurt the sale. It's just hard to get the message across. If this works (it will work for Sally as they are going to save a small fortune in catalogs) for the schools, I will be really surprised.
Our Sally Foster Rep told us that Sally Foster eats the cost of any cards that are not turned back in or are lost, stolen, destroyed, etc. The school will never eat the cost of those cards, regardless of the reason for the loss. I found that part very reassuring since we are an elementary school. Hope this helps!
If your doing cookie dough your still going to have a delivery wich means the parent is going to come to the school unless there doing the home cookiedough delivery, where its thawed out when it gets to you. If you do the math you will have to sell more in dollars since you are getting 40% and most got 50% last year so you have to sell 10% more in retail to break even. Your right on the amount of items to be sold it will be less because the retail is higher. the main concern we have for our school is the kids explaining how it works and turning in the voucher booklet with the numbers. Student does not turn it in there out there 20$ as i see it,but maybe im wrong. We are doing our homework to pick what is best for the school and the kids and not what makes it easy on us.
