I'm going to ask the printers if they would like to put their logo on the sleve and my be waive the set up fee. I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine! Keep your fingers crossed!
We made some using the iron transfer paper and my computer. They look very nice. We picked a color for the shirt and left the logo black and white. We kept the logo small. I think that helps the shirts look less "homemade'.
How about going to your local crafters store and buying iron on letters? I am sure you could probably find some school related iron stuff too. Then you could just buy the shirts & iron the stuff on yourself.
I wish I could find a local company that would waive the set up fee. I only need 4 shirts, give or take a few. It's mainly for 2 of us that are there all the time and this is a way for people to distinguish us from staff and other parents.
We are in the process of ordering shirts. A couple of local guys do screen printing and we thought they were priced right. If we sell 10 tshirts @ $10 each and 10 sweatshirts @ $18 each we will cover the set up and printing costs.
We talked about doing the computer print out on the iron on sheets but no one had done it before and we didnt know how they would turn out.
The iron ons are the ones that I said I thought could look cheesy. I have seen where the border is from the iron on paper.
kelly - is that what you use? Do you have a template you could send me?
