We have staff only shirts that our the school's logo on one side and just say STAFF on the back. Embriodery Plus did these for us. We were thinking of making ones that say PTO on the back for us members but haven't gotten that far. You could also just buy ironons that can be designed on the computer and make your own.

We made our own PTO tees... and we LOVE them! There very simple.... MADISON PTO in red fluxotine font on a white tee. Each officer picked the style and size of tee they wanted from good, old Walmart... that way everyone is comfortable in what they are wearing. We're actually in the process of making more for our new board members right now.
Another plus of making them on your own... when someone spills nacho cheese all over your t-shirt at the school carnival, you can make a new one before the next event!

Maybe a polo in your school color with your names and or just PTO ID or logo embroidered on it. A lot of people have these machines in there home and do small scale (like 1 item). Look in the phone book or ask around school. I bet a mom who is into sewing, especially as a hobby/business would have a machine (like my sister-in-law).

I want to do a PTO shirt. There would only be a handful of us wearing them, but I think it would help tell us apart at functions. Unfortunetly, most companies require a minimum and a large set up fee. I had thought of doing them myself on my printer. Has anyone done this? Is it cost effective and does it look good? I have seen some done in the past, and you can definetly tell that they were home made.
