If it's not too much trouble, I would like to receive a copy of this Access database. I believe it would be very useful as our group attempts to get organized.

I am very familiar with Access when it comes to the databases at work that deal with bills of materials, but I cannot seem to get it to work myself with directory info etc.
Can you please send a copy of your database to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
could you send me your access database? You've tried to send it to me before, but I have upgraded my access program, due to a slight crash in my computer. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Thanks

PS. I seem to have the same trouble logging in sometimes, so I gave up and I usually post as unregistered
I have a devil of a time logging into this site. Tim, if you are reading this, please advise why my password works sometimes but not others. I used to be 'almost used up' but had to switch login names because of these glitches. Yesterday I was able to log on, today, I am here as 'unregistered'. It's frustrating.
Anyway, Critter- I sent you an e-mail and my database with answer to your question. Also posted here:
First you can designate fields as 'memo' as that gives you almost unlimited length in the field. You should not need that feature though, as 'text' should meet your needs and you cannot sort on a memo field so it makes some reporting difficult. In the report, you can design the fields to shrink and/or grow to accomodate the increased length. Right mouse and go to 'properties' and click yes under 'can shrink' and 'can grow'. I have many families listed with multiple e-mail addresses, which Access easily handles. Truthfully, I have not used publisher for this application so can't really speak to the benefits of one vs. the other.
Access is not a standard part of office suite, at least I don't think so. As I do this all at work(sshhhh), I have no idea how to go about getting it or loading it.
