Thanks for the support. You guys are awesome. I wish even a couple of you lived in my community, things would be different.
If I know ahead of time, I will alert you all to the airing of a segment about corporal punishment. The CBS Morning Show interviewed me last Thursday, and it will air this week or next, I am told.
Best,
Peggy
Good job- I am in the minority on corporal punishmnet but I applaud your efforts, plus the fact that U, lamme and others back you convictions up with proof and facts not just idle retreaded retoric.
I also agree it should be a 'parents right' to opt out in certain situations.
I've forwarded your sites to the local media here maybe they'll add it to all the reports on children they've been doing especially since we have a giant sex offender problem that keeps these kind of issues on our news

YOU ROCK PEGGY!!!!
Great job! You are winning the battle on getting the information out there! Maybe others will read and want to do their own stories on it!
As for Mr. Dobson, that really ticks me off. A person in his position ADVOCATING hitting children! In a era when people listen to others in his position and take their advice without even questioning it, or having the sense to think about it for themselves, really makes me mad! I've read his articles and listened to him on the radio numerous times myself. he should be ashamed!
Maybe we should start paddling the teachers and administrators who make mistakes also. i wonder how long it would be until it was outlawed. And for them to say that none of the principals will use it, yet they won't ban it is just nuts. It is like they are a child just actively defying the parents for fun.
Great job Peggy. You deserve a big hug for doing all you can to protect all of our children!
