Question: Bullied by Past PTO Members

The principal of our elementary school is stating he will be dissolving our PTO due to drama from past PTO members. Is this legal? How do we keep this from happening? Has anyone else been through this? HELP!

First step is check with your bylaws. If it is not clear, I don't think that the Principal can make that call. The Principal is in charge of the school and NOT the PTO as it is a separate entity. Suggest getting a group of parents together and represent the PTO Board as voted by the parents of the school. The Principal is only 1 vote and cannot make that call.
