Question: Using PTA money to tip vendors
We are having a band perform at our spring family night and the committee chair would like to have cash to tip them after the event. I am hesitant to provide cash for something we won't have a receipt or invoice for. Is it common practice to provide PTA cash for gratuity to vendors as long as we have a request form from the chairperson but corresponding receipt?
