Question: I need a Mentor!!
I recently took the initiative to start a PTO at my son's school. I have successfully recruited a strong group of 8 parents that have been consistently attending meetings. I am starting to get a little overwhelmed with all of the logistics of running this parent group. I was wondering if there were any parents/pto presidents that would be willing to mentor me for a little while until I got this all under contol. For example, I would like to fundraise but our school's executive director told me that I would need approval from the school's board first. I just want to know all of the ins and outs. Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated!!!
