Question: Finance/records

We are all new members, I asked the x prisedent for all the records and bank book to have audited. She closed acct. and shereded everything. As acting president what should dI do?

You should document everything that happened. Bring in the principal and the rest of your board. Also consult your bylaws to see what exactly the past board is responsible to report to you and what you are now responsible to report to places like the IRS, etc. Good luck, this sounds a little scary.

Yes, it is and the thing is the response I recevied from the Principal. I am thinking of stepping down, no one seems to think that this was wrong.
