Question: President resigning before terms ends

Unfortunately, due to personal reasons and personal conflict I need to resign my position before my term is up. Am looking for suggestions on making it an easy transition. VP already voted in and we have many members on the board that are organized and out spoken. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi! It sounds like you have several pieces already in place to help the transition. Are you able to meet with the remaining board members to discuss top topics, and essentially help them with a to-do list for the remainder of the year as well as a start-up list for the next school year? How about any sort of binder you used as president? Also, is it possible to make yourself available on an informal basis should the board have questions going forward? From here, it's up to them! It sounds like you are concerned and so my guess is you'll do what you can to help this transition go smoothly.
