For a Faculty Lunch in March, we once celebrated "March Madness"! We decorated with ACC banners, posters and paper products in corresponding college colors. We served Tailgate food which was easy and tasty!
Hi We do a back to school luncheon and we do different themes. Last year I did its a circus here and decorated accordingly. This year I need something new. I am serving italian food. Any ideas.
Our school district is very small - so we generally ask our kitchen to prepare a breakfast - with beverages, danish, breakfast sandwiches, etc. We give them a school related gift - lunch boxes, pins etc - We also put up a big banner for teacher appreciation week - parents and the community are invited to the breakfast.
I'm an administrator at a middle school... so CREATIVITY is a requirement at my school. We schedule a variety of Teacher/Staff Luncheon activities. We begin our week with the Annual "We Flip" for Our Teachers Pancake Breakfast. The menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast punch, fruit kebobs and coffee. Administrators, clerical staff and parent volunteers cook, serve and clean. Our Futures Educators Club serve as greeters. Music is played..and this year we're added a teacher slideshow- of variety school events. The most popular luncheon is "Bake Potatoe" Day. A school volunteer donates and bakes potatoes-in the school cafeteria... and yes... we supply the toppings... other volunteers donate desserts. Other planned activities are: Our Teachers Are "Smoothies"- breakfast smoothies, Make Your Own Pizza Day, Wrap & Roll (theme to Rock & Roll music). Lastly... this year's Secretary's Day Week was "Treats for the Sweet"- week of special pastries, desserts etc.
I have been a VERY involved parent for all six years this people at school are like family to me and on another so our theme on a budget will be " OUR STAR SCHOOL FAMILY PICINIC" We will ask familys to do all the food and drinks the kids will do the decorations and then on May 5th our teachers and staff will spend their lunch break at our picinic.
