aperona, Start requesting about 6 months out. Most places require you to have at least a 30 day time frame if not more.

I was wondering how far in advance y'all start asking for donations for you auction? Our Auction date is October 1, 2016.

Just a heads up the list from the boy scout troop mostly contains local franchises in Illinois.

I ran across this when searching for companies that do donations. It is a mailing list from a Boy Scout group. It is from 2014, so you may need to double check addresses and information but there are hundreds of names on this list. At least it may give ideas of companies we hadn't thought of. Also if you short on time to research, you could just print the mailing list and take your chances - I'm guessing if you mailed something to all of them, you'd have a decent response.
