For those of you looking for a hotel stay in Chicago, the Hard Rock Hotel offers a special rate for those of us looking for a good deal. I think that we paid $99 and got a 2-night stay with very little stipulations.

Do any of you know of any other deals like this? Other than Great Wolf Lodge...

amtrak took forever and finally after following up 3 times and a train station in our town got a no.

well I got my no from Amtrak today. I applied end of Dec.

I haven't had any luck with Amtrak good luck to anyone else. Anyone know of some hotel in Chicago? Or anything in Michigan... Thanks in advance.

Amtrak took forever to respond. I applied in June of 2013 then reapplied in January because I still hadn't heard anything. They finally sent an "no" email on Tuesday (2/18)
