I just contacted Nintendo, and found out that they no longer donate to schools or to PTA's. Here's their response:
Thank you for taking the time to contact Nintendo requesting support.
In order to be considered for a donation, organizations must meet the following criteria:
• We only make donations to organizations that have tax exempt status (501 C 3) with the Federal Government.
• Organizations must provide services in the United States.
• We do not make direct corporate donations to schools, PTA’s or other school groups, religious organizations or political organizations.

I am wondering what everyones success rate is for your auctions. For instance, we send to almost 1000 potential donors. we get about a 30% success rate. My next question is: what do you think the best method of contact is? (Fax, email, phone, etc.) Thanks!
Hi Everyone...wondering anyone can give me an idea of how many items/baskets I should do for a Chinese auction. We have approximately 550 kids. Our fundraiser has no entrance fee and it is all families of the school no community members. All of the items we will have are donations, so no family contribution this year. This is the first year we are doing this. In the past it's been mainly parents providing items. We are also having a dinner this year, $10 for a family of 4.
I would also like to say that this fundraiser has been made possible pretty much due to the amazing people on this site. If I didn't get my contacts from here I got my motivation from here.
I will be sure to get my businesses posted because it has been almost overwhelming both nationally and locally.
Thank you for any response to the number of items question. That is the one big thing I am struggling with. That and setting ticket prices and not making it confusing and too overwhelming for me and parents!
Just received another great item for our auction...Its a new lead for us....hope it helps everyone....Its Buehler Challenger & Science Center. They gave 1 week of Space Camp...listed below is the address..just email them a letter with your organization letterhead.

Ok, thanks Rickysmom. Thought I may have been missing something. I got a few more hits from using yahoo over google too. Using specific key words and/or your city or state helps too.
