We are happy to consider a donation to non-profit organizations for fundraising purposes. Activities such as competitions, recognition events, holiday parties, door prizes, give-a-ways, raffles, or other incentives are not eligible for donations.
Since this site is named PTO Today, I would assume everyone here is trying to get donations for their school. There are a number of companies and links listed here that DO NOT give donations to schools. Please, read the whole webpage and a companies giving guidelines before making the suggestion here. Thanks
@Melissa, I am co-chairing for a private Episcopal school and we have had no problem getting Green Mountain Donations. However, we were able to provide our tax ID number, 9 digits as well as a certificate of tax exemption, this is different than the non profit status, 9 digit certificate. Many companies are happy to work with us if we can provide the nine digit number and the certificate of tax exemption. We have received Green Mountain for the past few years and it just came in again last week.
