Also if you are in the Chicagoland area, one of our volunteers got a few nice donations from the Radio Shopping Show. I believe it is in more that one city though, google it with your city name and see what comes up.
I received the box from Stampin' Up! What a generous company! Full of paper, rub on decals, punch, cutters, ribbon, embellishments. As I left the school office I told the principal about what was int he box and she said she had a bunch of Stampin' Up stuff at home she never used and she would bring it in to add. I can easily get two nice baskets out of the product.
I just started last week, but have received Yes answers from Stampin' Up, Disneyland (four park hopper passes), Green Mountain Coffee (gift card), Discovery Science Center.
I also put out a plea to my Facebook peeps with home based businesses. I will be receiving gift card or products from my Pampered Chef rep, a school mom that makes custom hand painted signs, a cub scout mom who makes awesome custom cakes, tickets to the Riverside Food Truck Festival.
Taking on someone's suggestion I googled Donation Request and our state (Illinois) then I googled Donation Request Chicago, Donation Request Chicagoland and finally Donation Request Chicago Suburbs, each search yielded a few new suggestions.
Then I thought googled Tours in Chicago and a nice list came up. I've requested a few tour tickets through the websites I found and am hoping to hear positive replies soon.
