We send thank yous to all who donate. If it came from 'corporate' then the thank you goes to corporate.
Airlines are funny. We got tickets from Southwest this year (but not last), and got Airtran two years ago, but have been denied since. I think it just depends on how often they've given in the past (some prefer to donate to one place once every 2-3 years), and also on how busy your nearest hub is.
We put our Wheel Of Fortune Package in our live event. We don't put starting bids on live items (we let the auctioneer handle that), but it ended up at $200.00. It probably could've gone for more if we weren't in Indiana, and airfare was included.

Do you send thank you letters to the corporate sponsors? I always send them to the local shops that have donated but this is the first year (thanks to this site) that I have a large # of donations from email requests that I sent out. Any feedback would be appreciated.
We received the Wheel of Fortune donation and I'm wondering how well it went over at the event? Did you add stuff to it or just auctioned it of on what they sent? I have no idea what I should put for a starting bid...any suggestions? Thanks a buch!
