I live in WI and contacted Wilderness hotel in Wisconsin Dells and they are willing to donate 1 free night with the purchase of a night (certain restrictions on dates). Also if you are within 120 miles, Noahs Ark Water Park will also consider donating. I am still working with these businesses since I just contacted them this morning, but very quick responses.
In regards to Stampinup, I emailed them a general question this morning to the contact email they have listed on their website and they responded and forwarded the email to the appropriate person.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and received a statndard reply (we'll respond to your email) about a day later. Heard back that they would donate about a week after that. Then received the package about 2 weeks later.
Totally agree with reading each companies guidelines on sponsorwise. While some do not accept the proposals for donations some do list an alternate address/website to go to to ask. Just read carefully so you are not filling out a giant proposal for nothing!
Just to follow up on the information someone posted regarding Sponsorwise, I looked at a number of those businesses and it looks like some of them use sponsorwise for sponsorship requests only, not donations: Ninentendo, DeWalt, Hershey, etc. Just look carefully before you invest any time on a specific request.
These companies use sponsorwise for their donations/sponsorships you can use the sponsorwise.com website and log on if you have already filled out a proposal from one of these companies and then get to a couple of them. Other wise I've had luck with this address (just replace airtran with each of the companies)
